Brief-use terms, version 2026-10-06-v1.

This service is provided by Oskar Spence and Renee Fraser-Shepherd, trading as Otters. Contact oskar@ottersagency.com or renee@ottersagency.com.

Sending a brief

Use Otters Onboarding to tell us about your brand and the work you want to discuss. Sending a brief does not place a paid order, start a subscription or commit you to buying work. We agree the service, price and delivery arrangements separately.

Your information and files

Use an email account you control. Only upload material you are entitled to share for the requested work. Do not upload malicious files, passwords, payment details or unnecessary information about other people. You remain responsible for confirming product information, prices, claims and permissions you supply.

You keep ownership of your material. You give Otters permission to store and review it for your enquiry, and use it as needed for work we separately agree. This does not grant general permission to publish your files or use your brand in our marketing. Our privacy notice explains personal information handling.

Saving and submitting

Your draft remains private in the normal review flow until you submit. Submission saves a dated version, including the answers and files attached at that point. Later edits do not silently change earlier submitted versions. Contact us if a submitted instruction needs correcting or withdrawing before production.

A submission receipt confirms that your brief was saved. Email notifications are separate and can be delayed. If saving fails, keep the page open and retry; do not assume unsaved changes have reached us.

Using the service

We may restrict abusive access to protect the service. These terms do not replace a separately agreed creative services contract or remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
